Consultation & Professional Services Terms

These Consultation & Professional Services Terms apply to consultations and professional digital services purchased from Abba Dagu, trading as Normae, through https://shop.normaebeats.com or https://normae.trakroom.com or https://trakroom.com/normae.

These terms apply in addition to our Terms of Use, Merchant Service Agreement, Privacy Policy, and Refund & Cancellation Policy.

1. Services Covered

Services offered through the Store may include:

• Music-production consultations;
• Mixing or production consultations;
• Plugin-development consultations;
• Software-development consultations;
• Music-technology consultations;
• Technical troubleshooting;
• Product-development advice;
• Custom digital music-production services;
• Custom software or plugin-related services; and
• Other professional services expressly offered through the Store.

The exact scope of a service will be described on the relevant service page or in a separate written agreement.

2. Booking

Where a consultation requires an appointment, your booking is confirmed when:

• Required payment has been successfully completed; and
• The appointment has been confirmed through the applicable booking or communication method.

You are responsible for providing accurate contact information.

3. Customer Availability

You are responsible for:

• Attending at the confirmed time;
• Having a suitable internet connection where the consultation is remote;
• Having any necessary software or equipment available;
• Providing requested project information in advance where necessary; and
• Joining using the agreed communication platform.

4. Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule a consultation, contact tn1abeats@gmail.com as soon as reasonably possible. Where reasonable notice is provided, we may allow the appointment to be moved to another available time.

Repeated rescheduling or late requests may be restricted where reasonably necessary.

5. Cancellations

Customers may request cancellation of an advance booking subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.

Where a cancellation is made after substantial preparation has begun or shortly before a reserved appointment, a reasonable cancellation charge may apply where permitted by law and disclosed before purchase. Nothing in this section removes a mandatory cancellation or refund right.

6. Late Arrival and Missed Appointments

If you arrive late, the consultation may still end at its originally scheduled time if another commitment follows.

If you do not attend a confirmed appointment and do not provide reasonable notice, the appointment may be treated as used or subject to a reasonable rescheduling charge where permitted by applicable law. Any such condition will be applied reasonably.

7. Nature of Consultation

Consultations provide professional opinions, creative guidance, technical information, or recommendations based on the information available during the session.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, a consultation does not guarantee:

• A record deal;
• Music placement;
• Commercial success;
• Streaming performance;
• Revenue;
• Audience growth;
• Playlist placement;
• Label acceptance;
• Publishing opportunities;
• Employment;
• Investment;
• Software-market success; or
• Any particular financial or business result.

Creative and commercial results depend on many factors outside the control of Abba Dagu.

8. Music Production Advice

Music-production advice may involve subjective creative judgment. Recommendations concerning arrangement, sound selection, mixing, production, composition, workflow, or creative direction represent professional opinions rather than guaranteed outcomes.

9. Software and Plugin Consultation

Technology and plugin-development consultations may discuss matters including:

• Software architecture;
• DSP;
• User-interface design;
• Plugin formats;
• DAW integration;
• Framework selection;
• Distribution;
• Licensing; or
• Development workflow.

Technology changes over time. We do not guarantee permanent compatibility with future operating systems, DAWs, hardware, SDKs, plugin standards, or third-party services.

10. Customer Materials

If you provide music, recordings, source code, designs, artwork, samples, documents, or other material for purposes of a service, you represent that you have the necessary rights to provide and use that material.

You retain ownership of material you already owned before providing it to us.

11. Confidential Information

Where you share non-public information during a consultation, we will use reasonable care in handling that information. For projects requiring substantial confidential disclosure, either party may request a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement.

These general terms are not intended to replace a dedicated NDA where one is commercially appropriate.

12. Custom Deliverables

Where a service includes a specific deliverable, the applicable Product description or separate agreement should identify deliverables, revisions, file formats, deadlines, ownership, licensing, payment schedule, and other material project requirements.

13. Custom Software Development

A substantial custom plugin or software-development project should be governed by a separate written Statement of Work or Software Development Agreement. That agreement may address scope, milestones, fees, deposits, acceptance testing, revision limits, change requests, source-code ownership, pre-existing technology, third-party libraries, maintenance, support, confidentiality, intellectual property, and termination.

Unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise, payment for development work does not automatically transfer ownership of pre-existing tools, libraries, frameworks, source code, or intellectual property belonging to Abba Dagu.

14. Recordings of Consultations

A consultation will not be recorded by Abba Dagu unless recording is part of the purchased service, you are informed, or recording is otherwise permitted by applicable law.

Where recording is offered as part of the service, the intended use of the recording will be disclosed.

15. Refunds

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
